I'm amused that no one chose Titus as their worst play.

I didn't either, because I actually saw a good production of it--one that played up the over-the-topness, and left the audience laughing, but also uneasy, as we realized just what sorts of things we were laughing at. IOW, played for black humor.

I'm surprised no one had picked Pericles. At least someone mentioned Timon, which runs closely ahead of it.

I actually kind of like Pericles, actually, in a warped,"my love for cheesy movies translates into a love of wacky Shakespeare plays" kind of way.

Am reading Timon now, though, and wow. Agree with you on that.
