The following is mostly for ciri and gimmelgirl, but is cheerfully for anyone and everyone who reads Hebrew.



This is taken from a movie magazine I got when I was in Israel this past summer, and I thought y'all would appreciate it.




There's also articles about PotC, Jerry Bruckheimer, Orlando Bloom, Seabiscuit, Finding Nemo, Johnny Depp, Chicago, and LotR, all in Hebrew, but they were kind of wordy. I'll scan them if anyone wants them, though. Also a Hebrew poster for Chicago.

Coolios! I have an add for Sar HaTabaot: Shnei HaTzrichim (Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) DVD on the back of this thing. It's awesome. As cool as these things are, they're even cooler in Hebrew.

Completely agreed.
I also have a copy of the Chamber of Secrets poster in Hebrew, and I collect as many teen mags as I can when I go to Israel so I can have all sorts of neat articles and ads in Hebrew.
Coolest thing ever, though, is that I have the Harry Potter books in Hebrew. But that's not the cool part - the cool part is only after I bought them and got them home did I realize that a good friend of mine in Israel (whom I hadn't seen in a while) was the translator!!!! Now I have autographed copies, tee hee.

I actually just got a book called Besorot Tovot out of my library - Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman - in Hebrew!

I'm quite excited about reading it.

I always love looking at the Hebrew SF section in Steimatsky's (the B&N of Israel). They have all the old favorites - in Hebrew! It's fun to translate the titles and figure out what they're saying.

Ooh! That sounds like a fun read. Once at Steimatsky's I picked up Interview with the Vampire in Hebrew, but it's a dull translation, says my translator-friend. I just didn't feel like listening to Louis drone on in yet another language.
