Aside from the entirely bizzare smoking advice I got from Prof. P. within the first five minutes of class, there were two main gems that I got out of Thursday's class.

One was while we were learning Zoom. A girl raised her hand and asked "Is 75% more or less than 100%?"

You wonder, sometimes.

The second is the following snippet of conversation, recorded exactly as it was spoken:

Dr.P: Do CNTRL-X to cut the text and move it to the clipboard.
(everyone does)
Girl: Hey, where did my text go?
Dr.P: To the clipboard.
Girl: How did it get there?
Dr.P: With CNTRL-X.
Girl: Oh, that's what it does?
Dr.P: Yes.
Girl: Whoah, I didn't know that.
Dr.P: That's why I just said, "that's what it does."

I love that class. Really I do.

Two reasons:
1)To get out of my maths requirement.
2)I have areally heavy courseload otherwise. It's nice to get 4 credits for sitting in front of a comptuer and going on the internet for 4 horus a week.

Wow. Four credits? I should enroll at your college for a semester and claim my Ph D. I done a whole lotta web surfin' baby! Woohoo! :D

The four credits are because it's got a lecture and a lab. Technically the class is suppsed to be 3 hours, with a break. But Dr. P. decided to instead make it two hours with no break. No argument here!
