Quick fannish update

YOU GUYS YOU GUYS YOU GUYS.

So I finally got my ipod fixed so I can put music and stuff on it again, so I decided it was time to revisit my love for the Ninth Doctor. So I downloaded some of the first season, and I was watching Rose on the train this morning, and you guys, I forgot how much I loved Nine. I mean, really really love Nine. Ten is okay. I like him fine. But Nine! Oh, Nine. Nine is my Doctor.

Also, Dr. Horrible is stuck in my head and will not leave. There are worse things to have stuck in your head, I know, but the problem with this one is the urge to belt it out. I am in a cubicle. I do not think that would go over very well.

i cannot even tell you how long it took me to get over the trauma of losing Nine to even trying watching any episodes with Ten. I handled Christmas Invasion, and then I just..had to turn it off. Because NINE! *cries all over everything*

It took me nearly a year to watch Bad Wolf, because I knew that within two episodes, Nine would be gone and I didn’t want to give him up. Seriously. Nearly a year.

And it’s taken me a full season and a new companion for me to really like Ten. But my enjoyment of Ten pales against my love for Nine.

Also, Nine keeps looking at me from your icon. Just saying.

see, i didnt even want to begin watching. at all. ever. because i KNEW i would love Nine. and then, along would come along Barty Crouch, Jr, and that was just too creepy to think about.

but my neighbor begged and pleaded and bribed me into watching it. and i love Nine.

..and Ten is STILL Barty Crouch, Jr, though im no longer expecting him to flick his tongue out weird.

Yes—the thing that endears companions to Doctors is cool, level heads in stressful situations, and clever thinking outside of the box. I do love Penny, but her dying words—“Captain Hammer will save us”—show that she hasn’t been paying close enough attention to know what’s really going on.

The Doctor wouldn’t give her a second thought.

I just--I don't know. Ten is nice and all, but the overwhelming ALL THINGS HOLY love is for Nine. He's just so wonderful. I think I like him better than Four, and that's saying a lot.

Wow! Yeah, I'm such a NewWho person, it's ridiculous. I've seen a bit of Four (including the Key to Time series, omgDouglasAdams), but after being so immersed in NewWho first, I just didn't like it as much. I get how one could, though. :)

I think my overwhelming love of Martha, and then Donna, tends to make me forget that first, first of all, I loved Nine. And still do.
