Just read the following in Neil Gaiman's blog, talking about upcoming appearance:

After that, everything's sort of up in the air, depending rather on whether DEATH goes into production or not. Lots of invitations to go to a number of book festivals, the only one of which I've accepted is an invitation to NEW YORK IS BOOK COUNTRY. Lots of requests from publishers all over the world to go and do some promotion in the latter half of the year, none of which I think I've agreed to. (I could be wrong.)

New York Is Book Country! He's coming to New York next year!

I'm in love with whoever plans these events. This year it was Alan Lee. Next year, Neil Gaiman.

There are times I'm happy that I live in New York.

Sadness... I was supposed to help at NY is Book Country this year, but the big Sunday fair was on Yom Kippur. Any idea when next year's is?

I know - it was really annoying this year! I have no idea when next year's fair is - I jsut hope that the big fair, and the Neil Gaiman part (expecially the Neil Gaiman part!) is non Shabbat!

And, how do you get involved with it? I'd love to work for them! Do you do it in advance, or just around the time of the fair?
