Whoopi Goldberg as John Constantine might be worse. Might.

Q: For example, in the comic, your character is British and blond.

A: I think that's about the only change we've made.

I guess I just won't see it, like I didn't see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. In that case Sean Connery was excellent casting but the rest was so messed up it wasn't worth the pain.

Sean Connery pissed me off in LXG - Alan Quartermain was supposed to be a recovering opium addict, and all that. Instead, he was the Sean Connery show, and as much as I love Sean Connery, bleh. Quartermain's charachter was made about 200% less interesting by the way Connery portrayed him.

As I've said about an Ender's Game movie (if such a thing ever comes to be) - I'll go see it, but while eating a bowl of broken glass.

Keanu Reeves. As John Constantine. It just makes me sad.

Halle Berry as Constantine. You just were the cause of a spittake, my friend. Yeah, okay, I give you that. Keanu Reeves as Constantine is about 200% better than Halle Berry as Constantine. You know, when I see it, I'll be able to think about that the whole time, and it will cheer me up immensely.

That's horrible. Beyond horrible. I mean, I went and saw LXG because I knew it was going to be nothing like the comic, it just had the same name. But this...it would be too hard to ignore.

Ah well, two hours of my life not wasted on tripe! There's always a good side...
