No man am I...

Aragorn: You ride with us?
Eowyn: Just to the encampment. It's tradition, for the women of the court to farewell the men.
Aragorn (notices the sword on her saddle): Do women have swords?
Eowyn: Sometimes.

This movie is going to kill me.

Eowyn, Lady of Rohan

Me too. I was slightly in tears just from that video. Thanks for the link. :)

Me too. That exchange between Aragorn and Eowyn, when he sees that she's taken her sword? Oi. This movie is going to kill me so much.

It's funny - I'm a diehard canon fan, but I'll excuse anything that creates a romance between Aragorn and Eowyn, doomed as it is.

It's always made me so irritated sad that Aragorn didn't even notice Eowyn's feelings until Eomer points them out. Every time I read it, I want to throw things at him and yell, "SHE LOVES YOU, DOOFUS!!"

I guess it wouldn't surprise anyone for me to be a Marius/Eponine shipper, eh?

Wow.

"Farewell" is not a verb.

Tolkien would turn in his grave.

I know, I know. I'm a terrible canon person myself - all the changes in the movies annoy me to no end. But from the moment I read the books, I wished that Aragorn and Eowyn would get together - it's a book-inspired fancy that carries over into the movies.
