etoilepb has pointed me in the direction of Amazon.com's American Red Cross Disaster Relief fund page.

Every time you hit refresh, the number of people donated and the money raised goes up. Even if you just do nothing but sit there hitting refresh refresh refresh. It's gone up $12,000 in the last five minutes of me sitting here.

My faith in humanity is at least a little bit restored today.
