penmageI got my gift from my Book Blogger giftswapper today! And it's so wonderful. It's better than I could have imagined.
Debbie Nance, of readerbuzz--a fellow Cybils panelist (she's been tackling nonfiction picture books) sent me a box full of goodies.
One of the things I had asked for was interesting jewelry. And oh, did she deliver. Apparently her husband cuts stones. So she had him cut me a gorgeous pale purple amethyst stone. It's so beautiful, you guys. It has a polished butterfly silhouetted in it, and it's just gorgeous. I love it!
She also sent me a copy of Beedle the Bard, two pairs of gloves, and some hand cream.
I tried to take a picture of the amethyst so I could share its loveliness with all of you, but my crappy camera refused to focus properly.
